Milk futures mixed, cash dairy lower
Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange ended the week lower pressured by cash trade and traders pulling back from oversold positions.
September Class III milk unchanged at $18.40. October 15 cents lower at $18.10. November unchanged at $18.33. December five cents lower at $18.35. January through March contracts four cents lower to two cents higher.
Dry whey down $0.0075 at $0.30. One sale was made at that price.
Blocks down $0.04 at $1.88. Five trades were made from $1.88 to $1.8925.
Barrels down $0.01 at $1.81.
Butter down $0.0250 at $2.7175. Twelve sales were made from $2.7125 to $2.7250.
Nonfat dry milk down $0.0025 at $1.1125. One sale was made at that price.
