CME milk futures down, cash dairy mixed Monday
Milk futures were down and cash dairy prices were mixed Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
July Class III milk was down $0.03 at $14.15. August was down $0.06 at $14.80. September was down $0.14 at $15.88. October was down $0.12 at $16.80. November through June contracts ranged from unchanged in February, April, May, and June to thirteen cents lower in December.
Dry whey was unchanged at $0.24. No sales were recorded.
Cheese blocks were up $0.0575 at $1.3925. Three sales were recorded from $1.3250 to $1.3925.
Cheese barrels were down $0.0225 at $1.3225. Twenty sales were recorded from $1.3050 to $1.3325.
Butter was up $0.0275 at $2.4675. Five sales were recorded from $2.4550 to $2.47.
Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.1175. No sales were recorded.
