CME milk futures down again, cash dairy mixed Wednesday
Milk futures were down and cash dairy prices were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
July Class III milk was down $0.14 at $14.01. August was down $0.34 at $14.46. September was down $0.08 at $15.80. October was down $0.04 at $16.76. November through June contracts ranged from unchanged in May and June to nineteen cents lower in April.
Dry whey was unchanged at $0.24. Thirteen sales were recorded from $0.24 to $0.2475.
Cheese blocks were down $0.04 at $1.3525. Two sales were recorded at that price.
Cheese barrels were up $0.02 at $1.3425. Thirteen sales were recorded from $1.32 to $1.3425.
Butter was down $0.0025 at $2.4650. Six sales were recorded from $2.4650 to $2.47.
Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0075 at $1.11. No sales were recorded.
