CME milk futures, cash dairy end week higher

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were all up except for cheese blocks Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

September Class III milk was up $0.23 at $20.24.  October closed up $0.40 at $20.76.  November was up $0.31 at $21.62.  December was up $0.37 to $21.65.  January through July contracts ranged from sixteen cents higher in April to forty-one cents higher in March. 

Dry whey was up $0.0050 to $0.47.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were down $0.02 at $1.74. Two sales were recorded at $1.74 and $1.7575.

Cheese Barrels were up $0.02 closing at $1.8825. Three sales were recorded from $1.8675 to $1.8825.

Butter went up $0.0475 closing at $3.0825.  Five sales were recorded from $3.0650 to $3.0825.

Nonfat dry milk rose $0.0150 closing at $1.56.  Two sales were recorded at $1.5550 to $1.56.
