CME milk and cash dairy mostly up Monday

Milk futures and most cash dairy prices were up Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October Class III milk was up $0.45 at $22.20.  November was up $0.75 at $21.38.  December was up $0.63 at $20.97.  January was up $0.38 to $20.64.  February through August contracts ranged from six cents higher in June to twenty-five cents higher in August. 

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.44.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were up $0.0325 at $2.00.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Cheese Barrels were up $0.01 at $2.21. One sale was made at that price.

Butter was up $0.0325at $3.1775.  Eleven sales were recorded from $3.16 to $3.1775.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0275 at $1.5425.  One sale was recorded at that price.
